Very wholesome feel good movie. Although I am biased because I love ghost/yokai/parallel world themes. And any plots that emphasize living in the moment and valuing non material things in life. Very cheesy but in a good way. Clearly a 90's movie but the graphics weren't distractingly bad besides some aging makeup. And there were only very slight affirmative action and feminist hiccups that were less than 5 seconds each. Only noticeable to someone aware of the PC creep over generations, definitely not woke whatsoever. The scene where the White girl makes a comment about the majority male boardroom. And the scene where the Black lady's son is a cop. But the running gag of Robert Downey Jr. seeming like a homo when the women possess him or him doing a sassy Black lady shtick balanced things out. Pretty racist/sexist/homophobic by todays standards actually. Loved the premise and am surprised I had never heard of this film before. Just found it through some random sort widget on ZR & glad I did. Check it out if you want something cheesy & feel good, but you need more depth than a Hallmark film.
