Cheesy romcom

I can't help but like Adam Sandler despite his background. He seems like a genuine guy, and I know they all do, but even with METOO and all the drama surrounding him there has been no big scandals that I know of. He's a closeted Republican apparently and there's stories about him being told by his NYU teacher to give up acting, and him not rubbing it in his face once he got big: https://www.unilad.com/film-and-tv/adam-sandler-professor-told-to-quit-acting-826536-20230314 Knowing Hollywood, this could all be bullsh*t but it seems legit. And it's hard not to root for the guy when he was famous for being a really low brow bad actor in stupid adolescent male comedy movies for years, then performing really well in "Uncut Gems" and supposedly that new space movie he was in. Anyways, all that is to say that I know many users of ZR aren't the biggest fan of (((them))) and may cringe when they watch these Middle Eastern phenotypes winning over shiksas. But given all the background I said above, I really have no problem watching him. He's a good actor and his movies may be mental popcorn most of the time, but at least they deliver. There's solid chemistry between his old "Wedding Singer" costar. As for the movie, it's a cute premise and doesn't seem to be glorifying untraditional households. In fact, they emphasize the importance of having a 2 parent household. And throughout the movie it was all same race couples except for one in the background. Watch the trailer and if you are okay with cheesy family movies, or cheesy romcoms, this one is good. And has good morals too. The child actors are pretty trash though and there's lots of predictable formulaic stuff like the "all is lost" moment required. Still glad I watched it and made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
