Curt is a much better actor than one would think, based on his very limited resume. And Curt is a really good singer and mimic of famous pop, hip-hop, rock and jazz singers.

By the way, I do not recommend the book of the same name, on which this series was filmed. The original story has more depression and hopelessness, less humor and romance. In general, the creators of the series significantly reworked the original work, and this was to its advantage.

Totally agree. It can’t get out of its own way and the dialogue made my skin crawl. I peaced out at the part where it seemed as if we’d finally leave Blunt behind and have a kino driving scene and she pops back into frame like a bad rash with more pointless blathering.

This whole movie is just vertigo porn. The trick works for the first forty minutes but they totally overuse it to the point where it’s just annoying.

The important thing is that you know what you’re getting into. It’s a horror movie in 2024, with all that implies.
