Most older movies have really slow pacing and bad timing. And rarely are timeless. Although this film isn't as fluid as other classics like "Casablanca" it still stands up to this day. Just give it some time to get into the plot (around 25 minutes or so).

Eastwood at his best. Gritty portrayal of life and the cold dish of revenge in the Old West. Miscegenation of Morgan Freeman and a white woman but nothing graphic. Jew writer portrayed as a cowardly turncoat. Fantastic performances by Eastwood, Ed Harris, Freeman. Amazing that this earned a best picture Oscar. Could never happen today.

This is a western horror film with some grotesque body modifications, tense situations, and graphic violence. I enjoyed it

Some of Curt Russel's best work. The movie has excellent acting, dialogue and the first half really involves a ton of world building and char development, the horror and action kicks into high gear in the second half. Nick Cage plays a role like it was written just for him. He is an autist killer with psyhopathic traits. As the story tells us he learned how to imitate and read emotions.
