This show's momentum comes from small revelations thrown to the audience about its mysterious and surreal setting. That being said the revelations start to have diminishing returns by episode 8. The more the world building is laid bare, suspension of disbelief suffers from the lack of logic in favor of suspense and emotional content.

Probably appeals more to a female audience, but is generally entertaining for a casual male viewer. There is a retarded gay subplot that is entirely pointless and shoe horned in, likely for an LGBTQ quota, as this is an Apple TV show. If you are going to consume drivel so mid, consume for free.
