I enjoyed it requires a lot of thinking and processing and each case feels unique. Linear game so some choices wont matter and can't prevent your character from cheating. But gameplay and action scenes are solid
I replayed the X-Files game out of nostalgia for the iconic TV series. While it was fun to see videos of the original X-Files actors and I did enjoy revisiting the game to some degree, I have to admit that it has not aged particularly well. The game is incredibly linear and rigid in its structure, with little room for player agency or variation in the dialogue. The ending also feels rather open-ended...
As title says, this is a very not objective review I'm not going to lie, I don't know much about judging gameplay mechanics for city-building type games. But I can say as a casual to the genre that it felt well balanced and gave fair challenge. Each time I failed it was due to my own mismanagement or poor planning. I really like how the narrative of this game presents itself with the gameplay. The...
Lots of cool action scenes, but the story is incredible subversive with neomarxist ideas. Basically a bunch of evil white men sit on hills with all water in a desert, suppressing the dirty thirsty masses, but don't you worry, the Mad Max recruits a lot of feminist boomer hag warriors, saves the day, rides victorious into the citadel with red & black anarchist flags, sharing all of the water with...
A game from the creators of the legendary “Paradise Cracked”. Here you will have to command squads of soldiers, ensuring their survival in a post-apocalyptic world. Train and equip soldiers, buy and modify various equipment (from pickup trucks to tanks and helicopters). Each time you will have to choose who should go further and who shouldn’t, since there won’t be enough supplies for everyone....
I played this through once a while ago so in all honesty I don't remember everything. Indie gayslop through and through. Women are super badass, all the brown characters are good (and there are a TON), and all the white male characters are evil to a sadistic degree. There is a literal communist commune that is trying to save the environment who are super wholesome and good compared to the evil corporations....
This game, together with Rome, truly are fantastic games! The combination of strategic map navigation and actual battle tactics always made this an exceptional game experience. The Japanese cultural theme is beautiful, and the memes, for example spear units yelling "yarimazing", is incredible satisfying! Some of the game mechanics has aged poorly, but this game will still always be close to my heart...
This is a classic RPG, based on the great Dungeons & Dragons game mechanics. The storytelling is based on actual stories made by D&D fans and they have a lot of depth and the character developments are very satisfying. I strongly recommend picking up the remastered version if you enjoy RPGs
I really enjoyed this game which has good hand-combat mechanics. You move around in an open world and perform different tasks and challenges that are very satisfying. The game mechanics gets improved in later games in the series, but this game still hold up well compared to contemporary alternatives. I must add though that the story is quite poor, and looking at the diversity hiring, Gotham city is...
Looking at the Hitman series, this game or the Hitman 3 is perhaps the best. The game has great mechanics, you move around in an open world, and you get to assassinate a multitude of unfortunate targets. I have always loved these games, and warmly recommend them to all
The remastered version of this game is still a good boomer-shooter. It is dark and fun to navigate in this post-apocalyptic landscape, where you go deep into the dark Moscow metro network as well as on the surface full of mutants and urban decay. However, remember that the author is a Jew, and the story is quite cringe with stereotypical nazis and other Jewish ideas. With that said, the story is shallow...
They cared a lot about getting you immersed in the world. Progression in this game is amazing. From illiterate peasant to noble knight, every improvement that Henry makes feels natural and satisfying. Even the perks you choose give benefits as well as disadvantages to make Henry play more the way you want him to play. The creators didn't plague the game with modern day politics. It simply shows the...
This will forever be the 'real' Most Wanted. Soul was put into the game to make it just off-the-rails fun. No spyware, no internet connection needed, no microtransactions, no 'message'. The hardest part is finding a copy of the game - you may need to sail the high seas for one. I still have an xbox 360 so that's the platform I have played it on
Graphics are great, gameplay is pretty good, loot acquisition leaves a lot to be desired... Â and they randomly threw in a gay character and had him kiss his lover in one of the scenes. Not the most egregious stuff ever but it was very disappointing to see from a studio like square enix in Japan that has historically avoided this kind of thing. Â Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come
I played WoW on and off from WotLK - Legion as I had time and always thought the story was poorly told but interesting. Â However, when a friend of mine and I decided to try Dragonflight it became a meme for us laughing at how many gay characters there were and how many questlines they gave us shoving the normalization of gay marriage in our faces. Â Ultimately after our month subs ran out we both...
3 Stars Rogue City adds nothing new or good to the story and lore of Robocop. The narrative of the main questline is generic, and the less you think about it while playing the game, the better. What really dissapointed me was the lack of humor or any good comedic timing that endeared me to the first film. The main gameplay is combat, which mainly means you will be holding down the fire button, punching...
The game features good game mechanics, but the story is completely cringe. For example (minor spoiler), one way in which the robots are saved is by singing a song in the ending. Yes, once humanity hear robots sing in a choir, we all loose are balls and agree to emancipate robots as our equals. Another example is the plot regarding a robot that loves a child as her own. Here was an interesting opportunity...
Quite dull game since it is more like watching a below average movie. There is no significant gaming challenge, and the game is too linear. Moreover, even though the characters are mostly European Fables, the main characters are feminists, including other marxist themes in the plot
