I saw WyJim review this and I vaguely remembered this film coming out, but now that we watched it with the family I must say the film has a lot going for it. It has an all White cast, no power-women, religious overtones and a story of redemption and no nudity in it. So if you are looking for recent action-schlock without a real woke agenda, yes this is the film. Downside is that the film is overall fairly mediocre, far too long, anachronistic (a medieval Catholic monastery in Anglican England?) and gets very silly and hammy at times. But for those that don't mind all that, you get a moody action-flick where the hero is redeemed at the end.
