One of the music genre's I have always had a soft spot for is Italodisco, it's in my opinion one of the most solid genre's of pop music, so when I watched this film I had my hopes up, but it's very much a stinker.

Primarily because of the main actor, a negro, now when I first started watching this film I though, well that black guy is clearly really gay and he gets his ass whooped, but then he dates one of the Italian girls and he just annoys the hell out of me.

Overall the story itself is not really that bad, it follows a group of young people trying to set up their own disco, they get into trouble, some fights, get a lucky break and eventually set up a theatrical bonanza.

The main problem is that the version of the film I found online has both terrible sound and picture quality and neither are any of the clips on YouTube any better. So you have a large stage scene with all kinds of weird scifi characters and great music and it won't deliver because the sound and picture quality are so terrible.

This is a film that could have become a classic if they ditched the black character and if it somehow survived in better quality, but apparently it did not. So must wasted potential.
