Forgot how good blockbusters could be. There’s some cliches like the starving artist (blacksmith) fighting for the love of a girl engaged to a rich snob who doesn’t deserve her. And even a scoundrel badboy too. So girls will love it, and the continuous back and forth struggles for power make the plot intriguing enough for the nonstop action to be engaging. Every character is awesome in their own way. Actors are great. Good for kids and the whole family. Only downside is the protofeminism but Keira Nightley pulls it off.
