This would have originally been aired as a mini-series, but online I only find it a 3 hour long film version, which is a pity, because 3 hours is just too long as a single watch. That said, I am going to review it as if I saw this in episode form. The Langoliers is an interesting, though flawed rendition of one of Stephen King's novels, the strongest elements are in my opinion the diverse White cast... yes, it has a solid cast of White actors (and one negro) who all represent different unique archetypes and the somewhat cerebral musings of some of the characters, making it more of a character driven mystery series, then either scifi or horror. The bad elements are just the general (made for tv) feel of the series and the occasional stiff dialogue and acting, but the series really falls apart towards the end, with terrible CGI monsters. Notably a very cringe moment at the end, where the survivors return back to normal time and they do a kind of happy jump freeze frame and I am thinking, there's a death girl on the plane...
