This is a Christian film, but the religious elements are never in your face, but grown out of the setting and time period, it's a tale of a young boy who accidentally causes a boy to fall of a cliff and then he has to deal with his guilt and the sister of the boy with forgiving him. In my opinion the film deals well with certain moral issues, guilt and forgiveness primarily, but also with moving on and not dwelling on the past, there is plenty of Christian symbolism in the film, the woodworker as stand-in for Jesus, the house that is closed for entry etc. Is this film worth watching for a non-Christian audience? Well I certainly liked it, it is clean, innocent, while at the same time dealing with adult subjects, so I can see this as a save film for your children to watch.
