Das Lied ist Aus is a great little musical romance I discovered via a rendition of "Adieu, mein kleiner Gardeoffizier" and it's just one of several good musical numbers throughout this film, which is a good romance and comedy in it's own right. Basically it follows a romance between Tilla Morland a temperamental socialite and kunstelerin and a cold, aloof and introverted man she has hired as her private secretary. Unlike all the other man that simp for her constantly, he keeps his distance out of shyness and duty. Naturally, ignoring a woman is the best way to make her fall in love with you, so she does and badly.
