Steven Universe (2013)TV series

Created by Rebecca Sugar, the first female showrunner on Cartoon Network, this quirkily progressive and empathetic animated show follows the adventures of the Crystal Gems: Garnet (voice of Estelle), Amethyst (voice of Michaela Dietz), and Pearl (voice of Deedee Magno), and, of course, Steven (voice of Zach Callison), their ice cream-scarfing little brother. With all the joys and hiccups of teenagers and their kid brothers, this odd family has one difference: they are the Guardians of Humanity. No sweat! Okay, a little sweat. This series ran for five seasons.
