Queer Eye (2018)TV series

This reboot of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (2003-07), over a decade later, assembles a new “Fab Five” in Atlanta for the reality TV show. These gay men with expertise in fashion, grooming, cuisine, décor, etc., help a style-challenged guest how to take it up a notch. While the socio-political climate and attitudes toward LGBTQ+ rights have come a long way since the ‘00s, there is still prevalent queerphobia, and the newly retooled show consciously leans into politics and social justice more than the original.
