Arrow (2012)TV series

Based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, this action-adventure series follows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), a billionaire playboy lost at sea and presumed dead. Oliver has actually been on a remote island for five years where he is remade as a skilled archer and martial artist by mysterious characters. When he returns home to Starling City, he understandably shocks friends and family. He has set aside his playboy ways, and become the hooded, bow-and-arrow-toting, vigilante, Arrow. The show expands in later seasons to incorporate large-scale sci-fi arcs and more DC heroes and villains, and includes crossover shows like Supergirl, propelling the series through eight seasons!
