The Healing Powers of Dude (2020)TV series

In this tween comedy series from creators Erica Spates and Sam Littenberg-Weisberg, 11-year-old Noah Ferris (Jace Chapman) has a near-paralyzing social anxiety disorder. His concerned and slightly hovering parents get him an emotional support dog, Dude (voice of Steve Zahn) who helps him cope. Noah and Dude have an inner dialogue that only they can hear, and the pooch is a sarcastic and provocative ally. Dude winds up teasing out the inner Noah, who starts to open up, forging friendships with Simon (Mauricio Lara) and Amara (Sophie Kim), and participating in the merciless social life of middle school.
