In 1985 in Salt Lake City, two people were murdered by homemade bombs, and then a third bomb went off in the car of Mark Hofmann. Plot twist: That same Mark Hofmann was later arrested, tried, and convicted of being the bomber. This three-part true-crime docuseries from filmmakers Jared Hess and Tyler Measom investigates the strange story that led up to Hofmann's chilling double murder. It turns out that Hofmann is a talented forger who made the seemingly priceless ancient documents and fooled the LDS church and many noted historians over the years. The series opens up a lot of questions, as the contents of some of the forgeries would call into question the true history of the faith.
