In this live-action/animated adventure sequel, supervillain Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey - The Truman Show) has escaped from his mushroom planet and teamed up with Knuckles the Echidna (voice of Idris Elba - The Harder They Fall) to once again menace Earth. Rambunctious hedgehog Sonic (voice of Ben Schwartz - Standing Up, Falling Down) has been living in the mountains with kindly human hosts Tom (James Marsden - The Notebook) and Maddie (Tika Sumpter - Bessie). However, by night, Sonic takes on his secret identity as superhero Blue Justice. When Dr. Robotnik and Knuckles return to Earth, the only hope is Blue Justice and his new buddy Tails (voice of Colleen O'Shaughnessey) a shy two-tailed fox. Oh, it's ON!
