The chef life can be a tough life. When Carl Casper (Jon Favreau - Swingers) resigns from his job at an upscale LA restaurant because of the owner's (Dustin Hoffman - Rain Man), controlling ways his whole life takes a turn. He moves to Miami and reconnects with his estranged family, who he talks into collaborating on a new business venture: the food truck business. As Carl strives to make his dream into a reality, his ex-wife, Inez (Sophia Vergara), his son, Percy (Emjay Anthony), and his best friend, Martin (John Leguizamo - Cymbeline), are by his side and help him reignite his passion for food and repair his soured relationship with his family.
