As the British Army fights in trenches and tunnels during WWI, two soldiers are tasked with delivering a message that means life or death for an entire battalion--including one of their own brothers. In a race against the clock, Private Schofield (George MacKay - Where Hands Touch) and Private Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman - Blinded By The Light) must navigate through minefields and hostile territory to prevent a massacre. Directed by Sam Mendes, who co-wrote the screenplay with Krysty Wilson-Cairns, the cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch (The Current War), Colin Firth (Love Actually), Richard Madden, Andrew Scott, and Mark Strong.
