Southside with You (2016)Movies

An interesting character study and true story, Southside With You tells the story of President Barack (Parker Sawyers) and First Lady Michelle Obama’s (Tika Sumpter) epic first date on the southside of Chicago. This feel-good rom-com directed by writer Richard Tanne (Chemical Hearts) is also an ode to Chicago, highlighting some of the city’s most famous pop culture natives and iconography.
