Semi-Tough (1978)Movies

Based on Dan Jenkins’ novel, this 70s rom-com is set in the wacky world of pro football. The daughter of the team’s owner (Jill Clayburgh) is roommates with two of the players (Burt Reynolds - Boogie Nights and Kris Kristofferson - I'm Not There), and, inevitably, a love triangle ensues. Also features colorful supporting performances from Brian Dennehy (Cocoon), Robert Preston, and Carl Weathers (Rocky).
