It’s my most capable looking outfit!”) and -isms ("As if!") make it easy to forget that Clueless isn’t a ‘90s original: it’s inspired by Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma. Directed and written by Amy Heckerling (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), this romantic comedy follows Cher (Alicia Silverstone - The Lodge), a popular Beverly Hills high-schooler, who’s so distracted making-over, other people, like new girl Tai (Brittany Murphy), she’s missing what’s truly important. Plus: A young Paul Rudd (The Fundamentals of Caring).
