When 40-year old and lonely David (Brian Landis Folkins) decides to try dating through a video service in this dark comedy horror, he happens upon a bizarre video called Rent-A-Pal starring a guy named Andy (Wil Wheaton). But after watching the tape, the nerdy and shy David gets a lot more than the friendship and support Andy promised.
