This animated comedy adventure from directors Vicky Jenson and Andrew Adamson is based on the book of the same name by William Steig. It tells the story of a loveable ogre, Shrek (Mike Myers - Bohemian Rhapsody), who finds himself, and new-found friend, Donkey (Eddie Murphy - Coming 2 America), on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz - Charlie’s Angels) who has a dark secret. With tongue firmly in cheek, the rollicking adventure peppers the romantic fairytale plot with wry adult humor. The ogre that launched a franchise.
