A muscular and deliriously entertaining B-movie that showcases just how watchable a grizzled, bedraggled, supremely bearded Mel Gibson can be. Prospective viewers will also be pleased to know that the film actively flaunts its disregard for the sacred cows of progressive politics in its depiction of Hispanic gangbangers and young independent wamen.

One minor misstep involving his former biker buddies aside, this is a worthy addition to Saint Mel's recent filmography.
