âNow You See Me 2â has nothing up its sleeveFull review >>
“Horsemen reappear in London; world holds its breath,â blares a newspaper headline in this sequel, rather overestimating the worldâs fascination with magicians â as well as its recall of the first movie, which was three years ago and not all that memorable even then.
âNow You See Me 2â resurrects the gang of magician/benevolent con artists known as the Four Horsemen. Jesse Eisenberg works in his comfort zone as neurotic genius J. Daniel Atlas; Dave Franco is card sharp Jack Wilder; Woody Harrelson is both hypnotist Merritt McKinney and, this time around, his evil twin brother, differentiated with a terrible perm.
The best decision director Jon M. Chu (âJem and the Hologramsâ)...
