Paramount lies! Lou Lumenick has breaking news that Paramount, which last week vehemently denied that “G.I. Joe” was going AWOL from critics’ screenings, will indeed fail to fall in for first formation. Paramount is trying to prevent napalm-level bad aromas wafting off the project from touching Friday’s papers. That makes “G.I. Joe” the biggest movie ever to perform the not-screened-in-advance dodge, which, I hasten to say, will not work. Supposedly Paramount is banning only NY and LA critics, targeting Middle America critics with screenings especially for them. Put me on the next plane to Milwaukee!]]>
